About the Economic & Real Estate Forecast Symposium

As the premier economic and real estate forecasting conference for the New Orleans region, the Forecast Symposium connects the real estate community. Our goal is not only to offer attendees top-notch continuing education but also to deliver a comprehensive overview of regional and local market conditions and actionable insights that will equip them for success. Our carefully curated agenda covers a wide range of topics, providing attendees with actionable insights to equip them for success.

Originally founded in 1915, the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (NOMAR) is a professional trade association dedicated to serving a diverse cross-section of members from all ten parishes of the Metro New Orleans area. NOMAR serves approximately 7,100 members through the primary Association and provides commercial brokers and agents with specialized services through the Commercial Investment Division (CID). Through the Gulf South Real Estate Information Network (GSREIN), NOMAR is also a founding member of ROAM MLS, the largest multiple listing service in Louisiana with over 12,000 REALTOR® members in 32 Louisiana parishes.  

NOMAR promotes the business interests of its members, enhances and elevates their professional image and practice, and champions private property rights for all. Through advocacy, education, and empowerment, we're building a greater New Orleans.

About the NOMAR Commercial Investment Division 

The Commercial Investment Division (CID) of NOMAR was formed to foster knowledge, education, integrity, and professionalism in the field of commercial real estate and to create more opportunities for success for all its members. 

Members enjoy a host of benefits and services, including free access to specialized commercial education classes, a yearly scholarship program that awards multiple $1,500 scholarships for additional training, discounted access to the Louisiana Commercial Database (, a yearly awards program, and networking opportunities with other commercial real estate professionals.
