Dr. Jessica Lautz

Dr. Jessica Lautz is Deputy Chief Economist and Vice President of Research at the National Association of REALTORS®, where she has worked since 2007. The core of her research analyzes trends for both NAR members and housing consumers. Through the management of surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, she develops new approaches to presenting research findings, and she uses that data to inform policymakers on the state of the housing market. She has testified before Congress on behalf of NAR and is regularly sought by major media outlets for commentary on the residential market. Dr. Lautz was named one of HousingWire's Women of Influence and has been recognized as a RISMedia Newsmaker. She serves as a committee chair at the National Association of Business Economics and volunteers at Nottingham Trent University as an industry fellow. She received her Doctorate in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.
