Louis Lauricella

Louis Lauricella has been with Lauricella Land Company, a regional commercial real estate development company, since 1985 serving as its Director of Development and then its Managing Member. During this time his accomplishments have included the development and re-development of over three million square feet of commercial, residential and hospitality space. He has been instrumental in securing nearly $1B in financing for projects and has structured partnerships and joint ventures with some of the top companies in New Orleans. Over the past 40 years, Lauricella Land Company has been directly involved in over $500M of construction.

Louis' portfolio of accomplishments is extensive. His most current developments include “The Francis”, a 251-unit luxury residential complex currently under construction in Elmwood Center, and the adjacent 72,000 SF premium retail expansion. He is the Managing Member of River District Neighborhood Investors LLC and responsible for landing the new regional Shell Oil Company headquarters to house its Deepwater Gulf Operations that is under construction and near completion. His long-time connection with Elmwood Center’s evolution has been well documented but his other accomplishments include the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, Elmwood North Shopping Center, Elmwood Office Park, Palace Theaters, Elmwood Hampton Inn & Suites, Midtown Square Shopping Center, Elmwood Self Storage and Wine Cellar, Manhattan West Shopping Center and Manhattan Crossing Center. Louis’ community outreach and charitable endeavors include serving as current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Manning Family Children’s Hospital, as well as long-time service on the Jefferson Business Council, Jefferson Community Foundation, Committee for a Better Jefferson and Pro Bono Publico Foundation, to name a few.

Louis holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard where he also played football for the Crimson as well as Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Tulane.
